White Men Can't Jump
This is one movie that I can watch a dozen times over and never be tired of it. Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson are absolutely great together. They play off of eachothers characters really well. I like that this was a new type of role for Harrelson, who was at the time still really well known for playing Woody the light hearted (albeit an idiot) bartender also named Woody on the TV show Cheers. This really showed that he could pull off a number of different character types and it lead into some much bigger roles for him years later.
While Rosie Perez did a decent job, most people agree that it was best to keep her part rather limited in this movie as her voice can certainly cause a tremendous headache when heard too much.
This movie was a lot of fun, and if you want to see some really good back an fourth rapport with a strong dose of what can be seen as cynical bite, then this movie is great. One of the best sport films out there.
