The Dark Knight

Darkest Night Ever

The epic battle between good and evil is perfectly depicted in The Dark Knight. It gave a whole new meaning to the word Twisted. I never would have thought that Chris Nolan would be able to blow everything out the water by recreating Batman in a whole new dimension. From a goody two shoe cape crusader to a demonic creature of the night. Honestly I would have preferred the Tim Burton’s version but then as soon as you get to witness a darker Batman than you’re used to you’d be instantly hooked. It’s just amazing what we could do with technology nowadays and that’s exactly what Nolan did with this movie. He just explored unchartered territory and creates this insanely beautiful masterpiece. When I say insane that could mean only one thing, the ultimate villain of them all The Joker. Ledger’s portrayal is probably the most accurate personification of evil itself. Sadly the fine actor is now gone but we all would definitely remember his finest and most haunting performance ever. Christian Bale also did an outstanding job, he’d probably is the most vicious Batman of them all. Although the fight scenes and hand to hand combat were a little weak, it’s forgivable for now. Keaton’s Batman is the one to be looked up to when it comes to fluidity in fight scenes. The supporting casts also did a commendable job not to mention Eckhart’s two faced performance. What really made The Dark Knight something is the fact that it came out just at right time at the right place, and everything was not hurried. Every detail is thought off and the story right on the money. There are few bits and pieces of confusion I felt during the first thirty minutes but then in the end everything was crystal clear. Overall if you are looking for something that would redefine your cinematic experience then The Dark Knight is for you..

...Honestly I wasn't too crazy about Katie, and was happy to hear that she was going to be replaced. But I really admire Nolan for casting unconventional beauties for the role. Both of them, at least in my opinion, look more like they would work for the D.A. - rather than on a runway or red carpet.
But the real question is - who will be brought in win battys affections in the next one? A certain Ms. Kyle perhaps?? I certainly hope so.
