A fairly typical Owen Wilson film that lacks character driven performances from the lead to the supporting cast. These kids as the main characters are not as likeable as they should be. During the course of the film I find myself lost sometimes but then again about the halfway mark it delivers a few interesting scenes. Owen Wilson plays yet the same character over and over again and frankly I'm quite tired of it. This so far from his serious role in Behind Enemy Lines, I think he should be changing his career path. Although there are very few things Drillbit Taylor has offer, all of us can certainly appreciate feel good movies like these.
