Is it a game or a social experiment or a bit of both? I myself remember participating in a few ARGs (Alternate Reality Games) one revolving around the film A.I. and another on Lost - however, I never got nearly as involved as the people who took part in San Fransisco's multi-year project about the Jejune Institute - which at one time involved over 10,000 participants. A missing girl, strange inventions, dancing with Bigfoot, crawling through sewers, the Nonchalance movement - if the film trying to be factual or cheeky - I'm not sure, but one this is for certain, it was a trip.
