Creepshow is one of those movies that you love growing up. It's bloody and looks funny and scary. So in essence Romero and King really captured the feel of the 50's EC comics. Not only that, but it seems everyone in this movie is enjoying being in it and doing the best they can, Hal Holbrook being my personal favourite. Very enjoyable and not too scary. Like the cover says, "The Most Fun You'll Ever Have Being Scared". Too bad the sequel(s) ruined the whole thing, I would've loved to seen more of these done right.
