It's has been awhile since I have seen this movie, but I remember having a real good time with it. This movie was just really funny and entertaining. This is where Baldwin and Basinger fell in love off set and were great together on screen. I realize that the critics didn't think so, and nominated Basinger for a Razzie award, for worst actress. But I disagree. Shue was pretty good as the jilted woman, and had her father, Loggia, try to get the 'guy' back. Shue had a really funny line in the movie, asking her father to get Baldwin's character back about after the 3rd time she was jilted, and Loggia's character gives her this look like she's a moron.....Reiser was of course great as one of the best riends.

The movies about a very wealthy man, Baldwin, about to get married to an heiress herself, Shue. Baldwin and his friends are out on the town and come across Basinger at a night club, I believe. And basically, it is all over from there. Baldwin falls head over heals for Basinger and they get married, I believe that same night. His frineds think he's crazy, and he leaves Shue heartbroken. Basically, him and Basinger seperate and get back together all throughout the movie. There is a great side story were Baldwin invests his fortune in Basinger's acting talents.....and loses it all. But by the end of the movie....he gets rich once again.

It ain't no masterpiece to say the least, but I recommend this movie for some good laughs. And if you watch and enjoy this movie...I also recommend "Blind Date' with Bruce Willis and Basinger as well.
