I had heard the mixed reviews when I went to see Terminator and was pleasantly surprised. It is actually pretty good. Why did it get only three stars from someone who usually rates pretty high? Well, its missing a bit of the zip from the first two movies. I don't consider the third movie as part of the series . . . This is definitely worthy of the series, however, the problem was it doesn't have a real terminator in it so its lacking the humor of watching something that looks human not act human. The middle dragged a bit but overall pretty good. I actually like Christan Bale as John Conner though Anton Yelchin stole the show for me as Kyle Reese. I'm excited to see what they do with the next one as I feel they were trying to due a bit of a reboot here.

Terminator Salvation Review comment
I thought it was good as well but could've been way better. The action scenes were great and its visually amazing but the execution in the story and the writing departments wasnt quite there. The writing of the movie is the biggest flaw of the film and holds it back from being something more. Bale was good, but he wasnt given enough to shine. I thought Sam Worthington stole the movie. Imagine if James Cameron got his hands on this.
