Could have been worse

I started watching this convinced I was going to hate it, convinced my memories as a child watching the Smurfs would be tarnished, but, surprisingly, I didn't hate it. Sure, it's clearly directed at kids without much for the adults to be entertained by (except Hank Azaria's Gargamel, who steals the show), but I did laugh out loud a few times, and I managed to be entertained. Plus, who knew Papa Smurf was such a badass?
