The Special Relationship

Good stuff

A good TV movie that chronicles the struggles Tony Blair goes through as comes to power in the United Kingdom. Michael Sheen, playing Blair for the third time, has him down pat, and Dennis Quaid and Hope Davis are good as the Clintons, who befriend Blair and begin their special relationship through Kosovo, Bosnia, and the Lewinsky scandal. As someone who lived during this time, I don't quite remember the hero worship that fell down on Blair, and I certainly don't remember Clinton hanging his head at the end of his administration, but it does make for some good scenes.
