Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls is a sequel that lacks the freshness of the first film. It also lacks the laughs. Here the film actually has a plot, but there are only occasional laughs, where the first film had many. Steve Odenkerks direction and screenplay are both bad(he is the lead in Kung Pow: Enter The Fist). Jim Carrey is back, but even he seems bored with this movie. The clever Cliffhanger spoof in the beginning is the films best part.
