Shrek the Third is a huge disappointment in just about every way. Yes, The film is cleaver, but so what? It also has no story. The comedy is few and far between as well with the only laughs in the film being delivered by the supporting characters (The Gingerbread Man, Pinocchio and The Three Blind Mice and Donkey). The Main Characters (Shrek, Puss in Boots and especially Fiona are under-used). The newest character Artie (a take off of King Arthur), voiced by singer Justin Timberlake is a huge letdown, the character is no fun, dull and gets annoying fast with all of his constant complaining. This film seems to forget what made the first film great and the second film good, Laughs and Heart. The SHREK franchise is officially warn out, but unfortunately i don't see these films ending anywhere in the near future, too bad. The Gingerbread Man flashbacks scene will have you in tears laughing and is the best thing in the movie. Although, the end "battle scene" is laughable and pathetic.
