Not great, but very good sc-fi flick.

Pitch Black is an entertaining stylish sc-fi / horror film. The movie does become routine from a storyline perspective,The acting is solid. Vin Diesel is perfect for the role of Riddick. Although there are a few surprises when considering who lives through the end of the movie. I definitely did not correctly predict who would be the final surviving group. The outdoor sequences with the multiple suns are well photographed. I liked the the scene of a ringed planet sliding across the sky on its way to block out the sun.
