Unfortunately, this should have been better, with the talent involved. Based on an unfinished idea by Krzysztof Kieslowski, this film was okay but didn't reach its full potential. Cate Blanchett and Giovanni Ribisi's characters are interesting and unique, but you never really root for them.
You would never know this was a Tom Tykwer film, because it doesn't have his signature style.

I just saw Heaven on cable and think it is one of the best movies ever made. Everything about it is beautiful; the music, the photography, the locations, the understated performances, the story. It is one of the all time greatest love stories; he, Giovanni Ribisi ,will give her, Kate Blanchett, anything and his love brings her back to life.
