Zoe Cassavetes' debut is good. The script is a little stagnant. The actors aren't bad. But one thing is certain, she is in the shadow of her father and would have never have gotten the movie made if she weren't his daughter. HOWEVER - becoming a master takes time. Maybe her next films will be better. And maybe she will find a mentor who will let her in on the secrets of becoming a great director. Maybe her friend Sofia Coppola can give her a few tips? (PLEASE!)
