This movie pretty much embodies the reason why I don't usually like biographical movies that aren't documentaries. Because, if the director or writer doesn't take a few liberties to make the story better, then the plot probably isn't going to be very good. However, if they do take a few liberties, then they're doing a disservice to the event or person in question. It's a total catch-22. But, this movie definitely has it's good points, which are named Leonardo DiCaprio, Judi Dench, Naomi Watts, and Clint Eastwood.
