You should see the Director's Cut...
Surprisingly, a film that really left an indelible image on me for most of my life. I really loved this film when I was a kid and rewatching recently certainly was a treat. I watched the Director's Cut of this movie with the original music and it is absolutely incredible to know that they got rid of this soundtrack before its release. The soundtrack for the Director's Cut just works so well with the film, it's as though it plays with the movie. I really loved this movie because of the way it was done, not to mention that Tim Curry plays his part brilliantly. For anyone who enjoys fantasy, I'm sure this is already a cult classic in your mind, and if it isn't, it damn well should be.
