Not so bad, interesting story

I haven't seen this movie in a long time, but I used to love this film. Sure the acting isn't great and the story is a bit far-fetched, but it is at least original. Any movie where there is shape shifting aliens who reside amongst humans, even running the government, is a cool story to me. It isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be.
