The idea and what the Midnight Meat Train attempts to pull off is a more interesting discussion than actually watching and sitting through the film. Despite the failure of the film one will be served a variety of horror typicalities which include, but are not limited to: Descent or CHUD like beings who eat the meat from the train, the government involvement of keeping the natural order of things, lots of mallet strikes, people watching themselves get both decapitated and throat slit, the old popping out of the eyeballs, and steak knife through mouth.
