Absurdly oversexed melodrama about a Byronic multimillionaire (Peppard) who brutalizes everyone who works for him or loves him. He balances out romances with an array of beautiful costars (Baker, Ashley, and Hyer) while dueling his rivals. Alan Ladd has a great supporting role as his former mentor. Overblown and the innuendo is silly today but it's quite entertaining and some of its racy moments still have a kick. Caroll Baker especially remains effective as a knockout bombshell.
