A movie about a street magician trying to outwit street gangs while protecting his loved ones is a great idea for a movie. Jacob Latimore isn't a bad lead for this type of gritty urban drama with a hint of magical realism. Seychelle Gabriel is a likable female lead. Beats her debut in the atrocious LAST AIRBENDER. But the movie SLEIGHT is too serious and downbeat to enjoy the novelty of its premise.
