EQUITY tries to be a female driven version of WALL STREET or MARGIN CALL. The gender politics might sound like the script's achilles heel and critics will call it pandering to SJWs. It's actually the most interesting thing about this otherwise dull slog. Anna Gunn and Alysia Reiner are good while newcomer Sarah Megan Thomas looks like she has a bright career ahead of her. Too bad she had to suffer a boring debut.
