Oklahoma City

3.5/4 stars

Oklahoma City goes through the events of April 19, 1995, what led to the bombing, and what became of the bomber Timothy McVeigh after his capture. Objectively, it's a well-crafted documentary. Although the timeline jumping and the specific events discussed is a little odd at times, Goodman does a really good job piecing together the events in a compelling and heart-wrenching way. I did learn quite a bit, which is always a plus. But this documentary was hard for me to finish for personal reasons. It may be hard for the extremely empathetic too, as there's graphic footage and live audio records in the film that were recorded during terrible events. Interested parties should definitely watch the film but be prepared for emotional content.
