Dracula (1931)

3.5/4 stars

Despite it's age, Dracula stands the test of time as one of the best horror movies out there. The characters, settling, plot development, and cinematography don't have too many flaws to them and are easy to get drawn into. The acting leaves a little more to be desired in spots, but it's nothing to scoff at. Script wise, the lines and plot are great, especially for their time. The story does, however, suffer from Sudden Movie Ending Syndrome. That is to say that after the climax, there is no real resolution. That doesn't mean the ending's bad. It just leaves me wanted more in a not-so good way. Those flaws don't stop it from being one of the best classic films out there. Definitely worth seeing for any film or horror film fan.
