Kevin Costner's New Cinematic Abortion
PsychoKing1227 - wrote on 08/08/08

Alright, here I was, absolutely reticent to go in and say, "Hey, I know a fun time. Let's go to the local cinema and see the new Kevin Costner theatrical abortion." And all along, I should have been just watching the movie. Kevin Costner's desire to be dubbed the worst actor on Earth is still palpable (honestly, what casting director sees Kevin Costner and says, "Sure, why not?") The movie itself offered a great script of hilarious side characters amidst the most ridiculous of circumstances. The most hilarious being Nathan Lane, George Lopez, and Stanley Tucci (quite honestly the reason I went to see it in the first place...if it wasn't for that darned Kevin guy). The writing offers treats of social and political commentary, leaning towards a rather melancholy look at the American political games that we all buy into, I fear. All in all, I wasn't highly disappointed by the movie, but I certainly didn't walk out with a feeling of accomplishment muttering, "Hey, that was impressive."
