A superbly-executed tale with by far one of the best casts ever assembled for a motion picture. Colin Firth leads his cinema veterans on a rollicking and moving testament to the power we each hold, by simply being able to speak.Helena Bonham Carter is graceful as Queen Elizabeth I, using her subtle expressions to portray a very complex woman. Geoffrey Rush steals most of his scenes by his comic wit and excellent interpretations of the writer's beautiful words. A talent-filled epic of time and love, "The King's Speech" is one of the greatest films celebrating history I've ever seen.
