Dana Andrews is excellent as an expert but reluctant gunslinger who arrives in a town with orders to "tame" it. However, he has personal reasons for taking the job: He means to kill the man who ordered a hit on him several years previous, a hit that ended up getting Andrews' wife killed instead. This is a slightly above-average Western with a solid supporting cast, including a pre-Star Trek Deforest Kelley. Well worth a watch.
