"Detective Spooner" (Will Smith) is a police detective who has a prejudice against robots, and one of them (Alan Tudyk) apparently committed the a murder of its human creator. Or has it?

This is one of the best movies to use CGI in awhile. The robots are well done and are blended into the background perfectly. The robots with a reflective shell are easily the best CGI characters in the movie. I also liked the way the voice was used for all of the same type of robot.

The story itself is pretty predictable, even though my first intuition on killer was wrong. I pretty much knew what was going to happen a couple of scenes before it did.

The acting itself was average from all involved. None of the characters stood out more than the rest, except for the robots -- and that is on a visual stand-point.

To sum things up, this movie would be a pretty good rental for a night in.
