"The Mighty Ducks" is basically "The Bad News Bears" on ice. It is about "Attorney Gordon Bombay" who is made to coach a Pee Wee Hockey team by the Minnesota Court System after being convicted of DWI.

The jokes in this movie are very campy and childish. Some of them make you laugh, but many others make you groan. Most of the jokes do not work.

Most of the kids in this movie are not believable in character. I did not connect with most of them.

The limo driver assigned to drive "Bombay" was not well presented. He was just there and unnecessary.

This movie did balance the relationship of "Bombay" and the fatherless "Mighty Duck", "Charlie Conway" and "Bombay's" relationship with the rest of the team pretty well, but I would have like to have seen more of the Coach/Team relationship.

Emilio Estevez ("Bombay") and Joshua Jackson ("Conway") were the best members of the cast. The others were either just OK, or there was no reason for them to even be there.

Overall, this movie is good to rent, but not really one to add to your collection at home.
