Is it just me or Dylan O'Brien looks a bit like me. The movie is about the main character of the film wakes up trapped in a massive maze with a group of other boys, he has no memory of the outside world other than strange dreams about a mysterious organization known as W.C.K.D. Only by piecing together fragments of his past with clues he discovers in the maze can Thomas hope to uncover his true purpose and a way to escape. This movie started off pretty good with the opening scene, but then the movie turns into a rip-off of other franchise. The acting was pretty good in the movie and the characters are fine, but the ending has to be the worst ending that I have seen this year. Overall the maze runner is a matinee film with some problems, but a movie is never perfect.

Thanks for the review! I was going to go see it today, but I decided to go see A Walk among the Tombstones instead. Maybe I'll catch a "matinee" later this week.
