Picked this up out of sheer curiosity and for a few 'glowing reviews' on the DVD cover. That was a big mistake. This film is a cobbled narrative mess that jumps around between genres at dizzying levels. The selection of famous 50's tunes are needlessly thrown in at random points and serve absolutely no purpose. And, worst of all, every single joke is an utter failure. I'd write this off as a complete disaster, if it wasn't for Downey's out-of-place performance.
