The Godfather: Part II

4/4 stars

This is a longer and even richer continuation of the first Godfather film. Pacino and the other returning actors are stronger here and De Niro gives a very effective performance, in the flashback sequences, as a younger Vito Corleone. This is that rare case, where I prefer the sequel over the original.
