Bad Remake

Should satisfy gorehounds, but there isn't really anything else redeeming about this film other than a few funny moments. Suffers mostly from semi-poor screenplay and execution. The inclusion of a backstory to explain the the villain from the original Black Christmas was not very good and felt cheap. The rest of the film suffers from lack of creativity in being "scary". The writer/director actually tells us, on the dvd, of his first draft of the script he wrote himself that just sounds better than the one used for this movie. It seems when you hire extra guys to make re-writes it doesn't always make the movie better.
