I went in to see a 3-D movie with lots of gore and that's basically what I got. No more, no less. I didn't take it seriously and I don't think the movie itself did either. The franchise shows it's age, with this entry. It's mostly just dumb fun. However, when seen in 2-D, some of the fun is lost. You could still laugh at the ridiculous nature of it all, I guess.
