Heathers

Before I watched Heathers, I assumed it would be like an old version of Mean Girls. You know, a high school with the stereotypical groups, and bitch clique. And then one girl who is friends with the bitch clique, rebels against them, and by the end they were all friends again. Okay, so I was right. But it is so much more than that. And by the end of the movie, it isn't really possible for the main character to become friends with the bitch clique again...

Heathers is a dark comedy, about Veronica (Winona Ryder) who is friends with the people in the most popular clique in school: The Heathers. So, as the name suggests, all three of the girls in the group are called Heather. And, as all teen movies go, they are cruel to everyone, so Veronica finds a deadly way to deal with them.

The only thing I didn't like about Heathers is that it didn't really let you into the characters lives. You don't really find out much about them, making it hard for you to understand their emotion, or how they're coping with the situation. But, just watch it, I guarantee you'll love it, even though it is a bit creepy... watch out for Christian Slater.
