I was enjoying this movie, thinking that it would eventually lead up to something near the end. but what was the ending? A close up picture of Violets face. Nothing was concluded. Nothing was even hinted at. No problme was solved - there wasnt even a problem to not be solved.

Pretty Baby is set in 1917, about a girl called Violet who lives in a whorehouse. Once she turns 12 there is a bid for her virginity, which marks the beginning of her life as a whore.

What a charming movie, right? But actually it is a bit more classy than that. But the ending was terrible. Don't watch this film if your ending must be substantial.
