I am a big fan of the Beverly Hills Cop franchise, so I was expecting a lot when I heard of this movie. This is far different from what I was expecting. Murphy is a little more dialed back in this movie than he is in the Beverly Hills Cop series. Nick Nolte is the main star of the flick and is okay. I did like this movie and the villain was done very well, to keep the movie going. I wish they had a better soundtrack t go with this. I love a good 80's music movie. Little re-watchability, but it is worth the watch for buddy-cop movie fans.
