Scream (1996)

It's A Scream Baby!

Sidney Prescott (legendary played by Neve Campell), the main protagonist, is the typical young pretty high-school teen whose mother was murdered and raped and now the killer is after her, too! The movie starts off with a classic opening starring Drew Barrymore as an unsuspecting victim that the killer is playing games with over the phone. We are then introduced to several friends who are killed off one by one, by a masked killer with a very sharp knife. Whether it's Drew Barrymore's brief cameo or Matthew Lillard and Jamie Kennedy analyzing the rules of horror, so many moments are memorable and entertaining. David Arquette rocks as idiotic cop Dewey. Then there is Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox-Arqette) as the tough as nails reporter. This film is perfectly paced, cleverly written and figuring out who the killer(s) is/are is a lot of fun and left me Screaming for More!!
