Fatal Instinct 
Noir spoof worth checking out!

I personally love spoofs and this one is a parody of some of my favorite movies including “Cape Fear,” “Sleeping with the Enemy," “Basic Instinct” and "Fatal Attraction."

Ned Ravine (Armand Assante) is a police officer / lawyer who is being cheated on by a scheming wife (Kate Nelligan), while being pursued by a sexy client (blonde bombshell Sean Young). Meanwhile his quiet and demure secretary (Sherilyn Fenn) is secretly in love in with him. She is hding from her psycho husband who will stop at nothing to regain her affections. Christopher McDonald is the dimwitted mechanic who hatches a murder scheme with Ravine two-timing spouse to dispose of him and collect on the insurance policy on Ned’s life. Ravine’s troubles are far from over. He also has to look over his shoulder for Max Shady who wants his revenge after Ned lost his case. Also featuring cameos by Rosie O'Donnell and the director himself, who appears standing at a urinal.

The movie is a treat to fans of the spoof genre and a fun way to spend an hour and a half.

Most memorable scene: Assante dancing in red high heels lol!
