A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors

The Franchise Finds Its Groove

I guess they knew they had to redeem themselves after Part II.

This did a great job.

Freddy gets some personality and becomes the witty smart-ass we've all come to know and love.

The deaths are creative and particular to each character (for the most part).

And who could argue with people finally realizing that these are dreams and within them, anything can be possible (it's almost like The Matrix year ahead in it's time). And get this....Lawrence Fishburne was in this movie too.....coincidence??????????

I would have liked to see the characters utilize their "dream powers" a bit more. Though not too shabby for '87. If they were to do this movie now.....I think the computer artists would be busy thinking up cool ass stuff.

Plus, this movie introduces items and places that we will see in later movies....which is just cool to see tie-ins like that.
