What to take from this somber and lame sequel?

What to take from this sequel? An earnest father making sure his daughter would learn to face bravely like him, the rusticated performance from Liam Neeson or the somber action scenes with an easy take on villain. Oliver Megaton (Transporter fame) has kicked in some lame action scenes, seriously unwanted intelligence and the misfit villain. Liam Neeson and his wife Famke Jansen have been taken. It is up to their daughter to follow along and help her father finish off the bad guys. What’s the point here? Only revenge. I do not know, how Neeson had found out the place just by smelling and hearing the wind movement. His daughter is busy drawing circles, in the map to find a place where they have been taken. This intelligence needs answers. Where is the reason to prove that? How did he do it? Al right I agree a CIA operative can smell things, not of such kind.

I am surprised with the ending, of course a happy ending and predictable too. There is a place where I thought that the finale was as dull as ditch water. Action films need a persona of purpose and this film’s finale is just somber. The antagonist in this film is holy trash! Where is the energy every action film antagonist has? Megaton is busy mending the father-daughter issues with driving license, whereas the license to hold an action film (i.e. entertainment) is totally failed. Why a star performer like Neeson, is doing a rusticated role? Answers are away to think upon. For now just a somber and irksome action film that focuses a lot on family values neglecting the sense of genre. I was pleased with certain parts (daughter acting bravely to save her father), but on the whole this has taken my interest away as the lame climax faded. This has missed by miles.
