Snitch is another Dwayne experiment

What one expects from a combo of Ric Roman Waugh and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (Action director+ Action star)? Total mindless action. Snitch is an easy joke for the combination. No action, only dialogs and lame excuse of ending the film with an action scene that fails to pack a punch. Even the undeniable presence of Dwayne Johnson could not take a level high. For one particular reason, Dwayne is testing himself as a family man again (a father of a son) keeping action as a side step. This may be different for him, but for his hardcore fans out there. Come on where is the action! Dwayne. You disappointed me again. Ric Waugh, who has great credits to him as an action supervisor for many biggies in Hollywood, takes an experiment with Dwayne Johnson and put him into a character that quite gets a mixed bag appeal. Dwayne plays a construction company man who decides to save his son from being accused for drug deal. How does he deal? driver, not an action star.
Ric Waugh uses snap flashy camera at the beginning, to find all the possible jerks in the initial few minutes, where a small boy of 18 (Dwayne’s son) jumps over walls and escapes from cops. Then, enters Dwayne Johnson a simple family man who has trouble with two families to settle with. No time for subplots here. He has only one job. I have to save my son. So with his friend he finds a drug dealer and accepts the deal. In the meantime he sets up a deal with Federal agent Susan Sarandon, that I will hand over the cartel, you give my son back! So here he is doing his job. He accepts the deal, and blah blah. Then he enters into a climax fight and game over! What the hell happened here? Is this story a Dwayne Johnson type? Is this intentionally tested from an action ace Ric Waugh. If not, what would be the answer from them? When Susan says that, the plan is ready, let’s rock and roll, unfortunately Snitch has only Rock.
