Here is my definitive Bond List:
1) The Spy Who Loved Me - Moore at his absolute best
2) From Russia With Love - very vintage Bond
3) Goldfinger - just brilliant characterization
4) Goldeneye - well written tough bond film
5) Casino Royale - Daniel Craig comes out tough
6) For Your Eyes Only - Moore's second best outing
7) LIcense to Kill - Dalton just kills it.. why did it have to end here.
8) On Her Majesty's Secret Service - an actual bond love story
9) The Man with the Golden Gun - awesome cheesiness
10) Moonraker - their attempt to cash in on star wars... jaws kills it
11) Live and Let Die - a young Jane Seymour and some voodoo
12) Dr. No - the film that started it all
13) You Only Live Twice - a real timepiece film of 60's asia
14) Thunderball
15) Quantum of Solace
16) The World is Not Enough
17) Tomorrow Never Dies
18) Living Daylgihts - written for Moore, acted by Dalton... could've been better.
19) A View to a Kill - what were they thinking. Walken is great though.
20) Octopussy - really terrible on almost every level.
21) Diamonds Are Forever - Connery should've stayed away
22) Die Another Day - invisible car = bond jumping the shark
I don't remember many Bond movies but have seen bits and pieces. I used to not be a fan of the series, but now enjoy them - mostly for their history and mystique. These are the ones I remember being good.
