A word of explanation in relation to my comment on this film Anywhere But Here: when I write about a film, as I have often done in the last decade in cyberspace, I attempt to create, to explore, to find some link between my life and the film, between the content, the actors and the themes in the film and my own life. We all do this but I find my prose-poem, in the end, does this in a personally satisfying way for me.
I'm sure not all readers will enjoy the connections I make as much as I do, but that is the way with poetry in any form. It only appeals to some.-Ron Price, Tasmania |
