After last year's lackluster pairing of Anne Hathaway and James Franco, going with a Eddie Murphy is a step in the other direction. He has made some great comedies (and is getting back into the game with Tower Heist) but do you think he can pull off something as big as the Oscars - I mean, he has given us Pluto Nash, Meet Dave and Norbit too.

I don't have high hopes myself, but I want to know what everyone else is thinking about this decision.
