What's that movie where the guy is thrown from a helicopter onto an island of criminals? Then by the end he escapes and puts the prison governor onto the island instead. |

If I guess right away, does that spoil the surprise element of the question?
I believe that the one you are thinking about is called The Condemned .
Though a couple of decades back there was another movie on a similar theme w/o the Internet Game-Show involvement. If anyone knows the name of that one, I wish they would help me remember what it was.
It also was about a penal colony into which men were placed or dropped and had to fight and kill their way out.
I guess they all stem in some ways from old classic stories like The Most Dangerous Game, Lord of the Flies and The Lottery -- all dog eat dog, survival of the fittest, just put a weapon in my hand and screw any hint of altruism, ey?! |

If it's an earlier movie there's a good chance it's
with Ray Liotta and Lance Henrikesen. I've seen it before, but it's not going to win many accolades I'm afraid. |

Though I thought Will might be talking about the newer flick on that theme, which is what The Condemned is, but, yes, No Escape was the one I was trying to remember, too. |
