watched a few recently
snow white and huntsmen . it was ok not great but ok. it was something to watch i guess but not something i'd want to repeat.
men in black 3. it started of making me want to turn it of as it was just pure junk sillyness and stupidity. but the back in time aspect to it i liked and it got a lot better once he went wack to the 60's. overall worth watching. wasnt great though
The loved ones. if you like sick twisted movies then this is one for you. id already seen it a year or so back but watched it again. sick and wrong but good film. if you like the saw/hostel type of nastyness
Dark shadows eva green was awesome as the witch in this movie i hope she does more big movies as she has a lot of talent. johnny depp is always likeable especially as a vampire so i enjoyed it for those two the downside though is some really cheesy music a very simple story and it just wasn't funny at all.. |

Netflix has a lot of the ESPN 30 for 30 documentaries (if not all of them) available, and I have to say, every one I've watched so far has been pretty good: Catching Hell has been my favorite out of the bunch, though Without Bias, The U, Pony Excess, Small Potatoes: Who Killed the USFL and Four Days in October are all solid as well.
Even the overly news-like June 17, 1994 had its moments. I really think this is an excellent set of documentaries - I don't even consider myself that big of a sports fan, and I've been impressed. I'll probably continue to watch these off and on, The Two Escobars is high on my list because of how highly it's regarded. |

Drive Angry - Nicolas Cage has been in a lot of questionable movies, but at least in this one he looks like he's having fun. It's over-the-top violent, bad dialogue and cheesy special effects, but it's a lot of fun... you know, if you're in to this kind of movie.
Enter the Void - Gaspar Noe creates a visually stunning film that's a real "trip" for lack of a better word. Although it moves as a snails pace at times, if you want something that is a bit different from the mainstream, I recommend this. |
