So for those who've seen it, what did you think of that ending? Wow! Esther had some beautiful paintings too, she was really good, you have to admit. (I mean the black-light enchanted ones, although the sleeping tigeress was nice too) 08/05/2009

I think it was really an original (and believable) ending. You could tell throughout the movie she was infatuated with the dad. To learn she is a woman and not a little girl lets you understand why she is so frustrated and allows you to see why she is as smart and cunning as she is. At first, I thought this was one crazy, but highly intelligent girl. Her being a 33yr old woman though, just really goes with the whole story. The movie was great, but didn't need the slightly over the top dream sequence in the first ten mins! 11/03/2009

First, I though the ending was completely out of left field, but was perfect for the film.

Second - Isabelle Fuhrman was scary good in the role.

Third - and totally off topic - After watching Kick-Ass if there's a sequel she should totally play the villain going up against Hit-Girl (the also scary good Chloe Moretz). Maybe I should start a petition now.
