Our man Daniel Craig recently announced that he was on the Marvel short-list and was approached to play Thor. And.... guess what?.... he turned it down. Good for Daniel. I mean, Thor is a Greek God who is, per the comic, blonde haired, blue eyed, and phenomenally muscle bound. But someone Craig's size yielding that hammer and tossing boats in the air? Pretty sweet potential, but shux. Oh well, such is life, and who wants to risk a turn into Daredevil or Elektra territory? No rumors yet on who the next suitor on the list is: http://www.iesb.net/index .php?option=com_content&a mp;task=view&id=5627& amp;Itemid=99 10/21/2008

Yeah.  DCraig would be a sweet combo in that role but he already had his key role with bond.  Obviously Arnold would have been a great pick 10 years ago.  But, now maybe Jose Canseco can take over that role! 10/30/2008

I am not a huge fan of them remaking comic book movies. They just don't go right! 12/30/2008

I have had enough comic book movies for a while.  They are reaching and even remaking them.  The Hulk was bad the first time and didn't get any better.  The same really goes for Superman as well.  Blah! 01/01/2009

I think a comic book movie is like any other movie it needs good writing, good directing, and good acting.  Look at The Dark KNight and Iron Man.  They were great not because they were comic book movies but they were great movies!  Also I know this guy can;t act but he has the physical part down to play Thor, WWE Wrestler Dave Batista. 01/04/2009

Yeah - then after seeing Micky Rourke in the Wrester, I would say he would be a great Thor.  Still, I hope they don't burn out the comic book movie genre. 01/04/2009

I just read that the Thor movie will take place primarily in his home realm where everyone speaks old English and there are Ice Giants and goblins, etc. It's slated to end as he is stranded on Earth. 01/28/2009
