I saw Georgy Girl when it first came out, in the movie theatres, and, since I was a teenager in high school when I saw it, I was able to identify with the awkwardness and angst of adolescence, especially due to not having the kind of social life that I thought that most teens had.  It was an exuberant and yet sad movie at the same time.   07/08/2012
