I still like the old Batman.  Nicholson was better than ledger.  Yeah, it had a little 80s in it but still better overall flick - could be just meBatman

I watched this again over Christmas and was very pleases that is stood up so well on a second viewing.  I was worried that it would not be as good a second time but let me tell you it was!  I still got goosebumps at then end!

TDK slid to #5 last week on the overall IMDB list. I hope it stays up here though as it was a superior superhero entry =)

One of the few movies where the hype actually met my expectations, but I think in time this will fall into the top 30-25 category. I think this is a good candidate for a favorite movie, but I don't consider it a classic great movie like Citizen Kane or The Godfather.

Agree, I think it is a great movie but not number one. It never got about 12 on FilmCrave, so I think our formula of calculating the list it is a bit more comprehensive. I expect it to slide down a bit on this site as well, but who knows.

I think it will slide down a little with time but over all it was a great movie!  I don't see why it wouldn't stay in the top 25.

Give it time, it will eventually slide down.  Return of the King was #1 on IMDB for a few months after it came out but now hovers somewhere around 15.  Peoplget excited about popular movies such as this but only rarely do they have the staying power.
